Job Description:

As a Shift Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing lab operations and mentoring a small team during afternoon/evening shifts.

  • Coordinate and monitor lab productivity to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and training to technicians
  • Conduct and review advanced soil and rock tests
  • Prepare and verify complex test reports for quality assurance
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices

The ideal candidate will have strong lab experience, leadership skills, and the ability to develop practical solutions to laboratory problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (completed or in progress)
  • First Aid Certificate and strong IT literacy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in geotechnical or specialized testing an advantage
