Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Underground Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Underground Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our underground mining activities.

  • Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, trucks, graders safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough pre-start checks on vehicles and machinery, accurately recording work completed, hazards requiring attention, and machinery condition.
  • Install essential services including ventilation, water, and pump systems, as required.
  • Ensure all necessary consumables are organized and available for work tasks.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members and cross-shift personnel regarding important job details.
  • Maintain accurate records of work activities, including shift reports and equipment logs via digital tablets.

You will have extensive experience working in an underground mining environment and possess relevant certifications and licenses necessary for underground operations.
