Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Strategic Planner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on strategic planning and policy formulation, including the preparation of strategic planning documents. This will involve assisting in the delivery of objectives outlined in the Group Plan, liaising with other Groups requiring planning advice, reviewing and preparing submissions to government initiatives and policies, attending technical or community-based committees, and assisting the public with strategic planning enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and policies that align with the Group's objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic planning decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Government agencies, community groups, and other organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning (or related field).
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and policy formulation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
