Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team.

This is a key role that requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial data and prepare accurate reports

  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax and accounting standards

  • Work closely with Partners and clients to deliver high-quality services

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing success of the team

  • Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed

  • Apply knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry

  • Assist graduates with work and act as a mentor/buddy

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards

  • Prepare documents for client meetings with Partner

  • Help identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues

  • Prepare and analyse management accounting reports

  • Preparation of income tax returns

  • Provide advice in relation to various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax

  • Provide general business advisory advice and support to a wide range of client groups

About You:

You will be an experienced Senior Accountant with a passion for delivering high-quality financial outcomes.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Committed to continuing professional development

Educational Requirements

Essential

  • A Business/Commerce degree with Accounting major

Desirable

  • Completion of CA or equivalent
