Network Installation Specialist

As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge network infrastructure solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in network engineering, including the ability to plan, deploy, and troubleshoot complex networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed Bills of Materials for active and passive components, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Inspect and receive network equipment, verifying its compatibility with designated positions as per layout plans.
  • Rack and stack devices according to designated positions, maintaining optimal cable management and neat dressing within racks.
  • Manage cables, identifying and labeling them for installation, and set up power sources, verifying available PDU sockets and installing redundant power if required.
  • Provide console access for remote engineers to configure devices, replace and install network devices, including switches, wireless access points, and cable patching.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing with on-site contacts to verify device functionality, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in rack-and-stack activities for network devices, with a focus on cable management and patching.
  • Ability to provide console access and coordinate with remote engineers to ensure smooth device configuration.
  • Strong testing and UAT skills for network installations, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
