We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our product quality department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing our product quality strategy and leading a talented group of professionals.
This role requires a strong background in quality management, with experience in implementing robust processes and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations. You will also be responsible for driving the adoption of best practices in quality management and continuous improvement, identifying and mitigating quality risks throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and lead the product quality strategic plan to deliver a competitive edge for our organization.
- Develop and implement processes and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations, including TGA and customer-specific requirements.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in quality management and continuous improvement, identifying and mitigating quality risks at each stage of the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance (PV), Quality Assurance, Product Development, and Group Operations.
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Lifesciences, or Biosciences.
- At least five years of experience in people management experience in Quality, with a proven record of leading teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership capability with proven experience in driving a high-performing team and agile culture.
- Excellent knowledge of Health Authority Organisations and Therapeutic Goods Act (TGA) guidelines.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing quality control processes across diverse product categories.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly agile workplace.
