We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our client's Telecommunications team and Technology Operations function.

Your Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and support of Telco services for the organisation, working closely with the highly skilled Telecommunications team.

Main Accountabilities
  1. Communication System Design: Design and implement optical fibre, microwave, and radio communications systems to meet business requirements.
  2. Capability Planning: Provide strategic direction for planning and development of Telecommunications capabilities focusing on optical fibre, microwave, and radio communication systems.
  3. Standards and Procedures: Maintain standards of communications networks supporting SCADA and protection electrical network control systems.
  4. SLA Reporting: Oversee vendor SLA reporting, providing regular data and input for performance and risk management.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong educational background in engineering or telecommunications, along with relevant work experience in designing and managing optical fibre, microwave, & radio communication systems.

Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco, Juniper & Nokia products, as well as experience working within the ITIL framework, is also essential.
