Public Health Career Opportunity

The Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Community Public Health Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering health promotion activities and possess excellent communication skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and statutory and voluntary services to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering services to children and families within homes and community settings.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating family-focused care under the delegation of a SCPHN Health Visitor/School Health Nurse.
  • Participating in Healthy Child Programme developmental and transitional assessments and planning.

The successful candidate will be a registered nurse or midwife with experience in leadership skills, effective communication, and IT knowledge. They will also have a proven track record in motivating and inspiring confidence and enthusiasm in self and team.
