We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Shipbuilding Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for providing expert shipbuilding and production engineering support to ensure the successful execution of our Design Authority intent across all programs.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to Production Engineers within the SSA organisation.
- Ensure compliance through oversight of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and standardized checklists.
- Promote continuous improvement and adherence to engineering standards throughout the production lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering qualification with direct shipbuilding experience.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a front-line management and supervisory role.
- Minimum 5+ years Shipbuilding design experience.
- Understanding of ship construction disciplines and processes.
- Estimating and financial management experience.
