Retail Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead our team in stores.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a passion for retail and want to take their career to the next level.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coaching and training a team of up to 15 team members
  • Driving the Ghanda values with your store team
  • Maintaining a high standard of store presentation in line with our visual merchandising guidelines and brand direction
  • Liaising with your Stock Allocator, as well as working independently, to maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the store to maximise return on floor space
  • Preparing and monitoring: store rosters, sales reports & store/team compliance

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience - who leads from the front, empowers their team, and embodies a leadership style in line with our organisational values
  • Who thinks customer first, nails the fundamentals and takes retail seriously
  • Similar experience in a retail/hospitality role, though this is not a deal-breaker - At Ghanda we value the right attitude over experience

About A Day In The Life

As a Retail Store Manager, you will have direct responsibility for leading, coaching and training a team of up to 15 team members. You will drive the Ghanda values with your store team and maintain a high standard of store presentation in line with our visual merchandising guidelines and brand direction.

You will liaise with your Stock Allocator, as well as work independently, to maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the store to maximise return on floor space. You will also prepare and monitor: store rosters, sales reports & store/team compliance.
