Retail Sales Associate Job Description

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by delivering outstanding product knowledge, customer service, and sales support. You will work closely with the store team to maintain high standards of store presentation, manage stock movements, and optimize sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reinforce the customer-centric nature of our retail environment by providing a superior customer experience.
  • Contribute to all aspects of store operations, including ensuring stores are open and ready for customers, managing stock movements, and maintaining a neat and tidy shopfloor.
  • Work with the store team to maintain high standards of store presentation, including keeping the stockroom and shopfloor organized and tidy.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and be able to research and describe product features and benefits.
  • Recommend and locate products based on customer needs or desires.
  • Support the store leadership team by assisting with the execution of assigned tasks in line with business and departmental expectations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-service role is desirable.
  • A strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask to provide service for multiple customers.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to store operations and personable approach with customers.
