We are seeking ambitious individuals to join our team as a Metal Roofing Apprentice. This is an exceptional opportunity for those interested in mastering the art of metal roofing and witnessing the satisfaction of seeing projects through to completion.

In this role, you will be part of diverse projects, including new home constructions, renovations, and commercial ventures. You will work full-time, putting in a minimum of 38 hours per week, while undertaking training with our Host Employers to become trade qualified within 3 years.

This apprenticeship is perfect for recent school graduates who are eager to learn and grow. With guidance from seasoned professionals, you will:

  • Install and maintain metal, fibreglass, and associated materials onto roofing structures
  • Installation of facias, gutters, downpipes, valley gutters
  • Ridge capping, barge capping, flashings
  • Skylights, ventilators dektites, and battens

To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you should:

  • Demonstrate a keen interest and commitment to the Construction industry
  • Not be afraid of heights
  • Possess a White Card; or be able to obtain one promptly
  • Hold a current Driver's License and own reliable transportation
  • A Certificate I or II in Construction is advantageous, and prior construction industry experience is preferred
  • Be physically fit, self-disciplined, detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The salary for this position is $42,760.00 - $50,000.00 per year, with an 8 hour shift.
