Embedded Expertise SCADA Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems for power transmission and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop SCADA Systems: Utilize expertise to create effective SCADA systems for power distribution networks, leveraging knowledge of SCADA technologies and problem-solving skills.
  • Implement and Configure SCADA Software and Hardware: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement and configure SCADA software and hardware, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Monitor and Maintain SCADA Systems: Monitor and maintain SCADA systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SCADA systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to integrate SCADA systems with other technologies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.
  • Provide Technical Support and Training: Deliver technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to operate and maintain SCADA systems effectively.
  • Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, guaranteeing the highest level of system reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Prolific experience in SCADA system design and implementation, including exposure to transmission and distribution applications and integrated asset data models.
  • Proven expertise in SCADA system design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols, including Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
