Food and Beverage Team Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Team Lead to join our Meetings & Events team.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate the service staff during events, ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently met.
- Oversee event set-ups, turnarounds, and pack-downs, guaranteeing accuracy and attention to detail in line with event orders.
- Collaborate with the Banquets Kitchen, Conference & Events Sales team, and other Resort departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Develop, coach, and support team members to uphold InterContinental brand service standards.
- Monitor rosters and manage shift allocations to ensure adequate service coverage.
- Assist with inventory management, stock ordering, and reconciliation.
- Promote workplace health and safety practices, maintaining a safe and positive environment for guests and colleagues.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Food and Beverage, preferably with exposure to events, banquets, or large-scale operations.
- A natural leader with strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Confident in supervising and motivating a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Highly presentable and professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Current working rights in Australia
