Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Technician to join our team. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to customer and company-owned Elevating Work Platform machines, telehandlers, and lighting towers in the workshop and in the field when requested.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the performance of equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Inspect designs and finished products for compliance with specifications, ensuring adherence to industry standards
- Install, test, repair, and modify electronic and hydraulic equipment, utilizing advanced technical knowledge
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections to assess machines and ensure they are in good working order, meeting customer expectations
- Perform repairs and maintenance on customer and company-owned elevating work platforms and telehandlers, adhering to manufacturer guidelines
- Comply with specific site instructions, including Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental policies, to ensure a safe working environment
- Complete all necessary paperwork and inspection forms required by Australian Standards and customer/site requirements, maintaining accurate records
- Conduct regular inspections of machines, adhering to JLG and Australian industry standards, to ensure ongoing compliance and safety
