Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and skilled individuals to join our National inaugural board for Aged Care Research & Industry Innovation.
As a key member of the board, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring its goals and purpose are met, and overseeing performance.
The ideal candidates will have at least one of the following skills or experience:
- Direct experience in care delivery with at least 5 years of practical experience within the 10 years prior to appointment.
- Lived experience of aged care as a direct recipient of services or as the carer/supporter of someone receiving services.
- Experience in research translation, ideally in aged care or closely related sectors.
- Commercial acumen with experience independent of the aged care sector.
In addition to the above listed skills, we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate evidence of at least one of the following:
- Strategic Thinking
- Integrity
- Strong written and verbal Communication
- Stakeholder Engagement Experience and Capability
- Organisational Leadership
- Cultural Sensitivity
Previous board experience and/or relevant qualifications is expected. The successful applicants will be paid an annual salary for their contribution and must ensure they can devote sufficient time and commitment to perform their role and duties.
