Middle Years Adventure Program Coordinator

This role operates middle years programs in various community settings, including adventure playground sites.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Program planning and implementation to enhance children and young people's development and social wellbeing.
- Supporting adventure playground operations for safe risky play among middle years demographics (ages 5-12).
- Ensuring the care and protection of all young people attending the service, including their rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Direct Service Delivery: plan, deliver, and evaluate middle years programs.
- Participant Engagement: promote council programs and services through community consultation, youth, and children's meaningful engagement.
- Administrative duties: reports, team meetings, professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A qualification or certificate in teaching, youth work, social work, or community development.
- Experience working with children and young people with diverse needs and backgrounds is desirable.
