Senior Adventure Program Lead

The Summit is a multi-award-winning, 50-acre outdoor adventure park that welcomes 12,000 guests annually.

We deliver transformative experiences through engaging programs and activities that foster personal growth, teamwork, and excellence.

As an industry expert in school camps, corporate retreats, experiential education, and sporting club camps, we offer comprehensive services including accommodation, events, catering, activities, and custom programs.

This role combines coaching, leadership, and operational expertise to create exceptional experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Inspire Excellence: Foster a positive environment, drive results, and embody the Summit's core values.
  • Team Management: Motivate staff with your work ethic, passion, and commitment to helping individuals reach their full potential.
  • Staff Development: Provide constructive feedback to enhance relationships, enable growth from failures, and support senior management's decisions.
  • Program Design: Develop all programs, manage staff rosters, and maintain regular meetings with Team Leaders.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Conduct daily debriefs, train coaching teams, supervise online training, and handle program-related work safety incidents.
Key Requirements:
  • A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong team player mindset.
  • Effective leadership skills, ability to motivate, educate, and lead staff.
  • Dedication to personal and professional growth.
  • Formal training in Outdoor Recreation and First Aid Level II.
  • A valid Working with Children's check.
Additional Requirements:
  • Recruit and train new coaches for the following year's program.
  • Occasional weekend work and regular Leadership Meetings on Tuesdays.
  • A Work Authorisation in Australia (preferred).
