Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Workforce Development Advisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of learning and growth within our project.

This is an integral position in the effective execution of our training and workforce development strategy, which will ultimately contribute to the successful delivery of a key infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workforce Planning: Develop initiatives that support employee attraction and retention, career development, and succession planning for the wider project team.
  • Collaboration: Work with leaders and employees to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate, implement, and deliver training and development programs.
  • Learning Management: Manage learning projects from concept to delivery.
  • Instructional Design: Create instructional materials and resources that align with organisational goals.
  • Career Guidance: Provide guidance and support to employees regarding career development pathways and opportunities.
  • Evaluation: Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and surveys.
  • Liaison: Liaise with Registered Training Organisations (RTO), Education Providers, External Training Providers, TAFE & internal/external clients.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within construction or mining, or working for a Training Provider with RTO/GTO experience. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is also desirable.

This role is based in our Adelaide CBD office, but from early 2025, time will be shared between the CBD office and the project site (Metro - South of Adelaide CBD). We offer a competitive salary and a great team culture where hard work is rewarded.
