About the Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you will work closely with our Senior Management team to prepare accurate estimates for tender submissions. Your key tasks will include:
- Leading and supporting tender teams from concept to completion.
- Ensuring tender submissions are managed in a timely manner for senior management review.
- Managing relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Exploring creative value engineering opportunities.
- Mentoring junior team members and sharing your experience.
- Developing tender strategies and managing deliverables.
- Identifying risks and ensuring they are recorded and accounted for within the tender.
- Ensuring tender submissions meet closure deadlines and are in the required format.
- Managing post-tender correspondence and responding to queries under the approval of the Pre-Contracts Manager.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Estimator with:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience estimating within an electrical engineering environment.
- Ideal proficiency in the use of Rated Power or similar software.
- Demonstrated ability in comprehension and interpretation of contractual documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in contract tendering procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in pricing a wide range of renewable energy projects.
