We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Pilbara Minerals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in electrical design, instrumentation, and construction or commissioning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing engineering design, procurement, and installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. They will also assist in estimating, scheduling, and commercial tender reviews, as well as provide technical oversight during project execution phase.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage engineering design to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Responsible for procurement, including tender evaluation, award, and expediting delivery.
- Assist in estimating, scheduling, and commercial tender reviews.
- Provide technical oversight during project execution phase, including management of technical queries and engineering consultants.
- Project quality management, including frequent inspections on site and vendor factories.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of electrical and instrumentation design engineering experience, or 7+ years for the Senior role.
- Strong technical skills and experience with HV, LV, and instrumentation design.
- Construction or commissioning experience is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in commercial contract management.
- Knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to the processes.
- Strong communication skills with people at all levels in the organisation.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Familiarity with ETAP, Digsilent, or similar software.
Pilbara Minerals offers a competitive salary range between $90,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including access to our KidsCo holiday program, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities to work on exciting projects.
