Cyber Security Architect Job Overview

A seasoned Cyber Security Architect is sought after to drive transformation and resilience across critical digital platforms. This senior role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives to support secure and compliant technology environments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex IT issues and risks across diverse, detailed activities.
  • Lead cyber security architecture aligned with industry best practices.
  • Drive initiatives focused on reducing technology risk and ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement IT security standards, policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Support business areas in meeting compliance standards including PSPF, ISM, and Agency Risk Management Frameworks.
  • Provide expert guidance on incident management disciplines.
  • Architect secure solutions using Microsoft platforms and products.
  • Communicate effectively across technical, business, and personal levels.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Apply tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant industry certifications.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cyber security architecture, including governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in agile environments and adaptability to changing project directions.
  • Ability to assess risks and security standards in greenfield environments.
  • Strong technical documentation and executive presentation skills.
  • CISSP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience across all architecture domains: business, information, security, data, technology, integration, and application.
