About the Role

The University of Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Careers Development Officer to join our team. As a Careers Development Officer, you will play a key role in providing career assistance to students and recent graduates, including developing and coordinating projects that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs, activities, and resources to support employability and career development;
  • Support the development and implementation of career-related initiatives and projects;
  • Collaborate with schools and departments within the University to promote career-related activities and engagement with employers;
  • Provide career guidance and advice to students and recent graduates;
  • Contribute to the development of career-related policies and procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency;
  • Substantial experience in developing and delivering training programs, activities, and resources;
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
  • Highly developed oral presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
