Job Overview

The Support Worker role involves providing assistance to enhance independence for individuals with disabilities.

About the Position
  • Flexible Work Schedule: A rotating roster option to accommodate personal commitments. Working days - Monday to Sunday on a rotating basis.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to improve independence by assisting with living skills, transportation, social activities, medication, and personal care.
  • Maintaining customer records using online systems.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with people, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the development or implementation of care plans.
Requirements
  • An appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or Community Services/individual support or equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry.
  • A valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans.
  • Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted.
