Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Public Area Attendant/Houseman on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, including floors, hallways, restrooms, and lobby space.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in public areas.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
  • Collect soiled linen, restock supplies, and strip rooms if necessary.
  • Assist room attendants with heavy lifting and special cleaning tasks.
  • Report maintenance requirements and lost property incidents.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, used, and stored.
  • Familiarize yourself with WH&S policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and act with clear ethics and values.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
