Senior Maintenance Performance Lead

This is a key leadership role where you will lead the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance across our Queensland road and tunnel network.

You will work closely with our core maintenance contractor to ensure maintenance activities meet asset standards, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing complex maintenance assets, as well as experience leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of health, safety, and environment excellence.

We are looking for someone who can provide accurate maintenance performance reporting and develop their team through coaching and clear priorities.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and flexible individual who can adapt in a constantly changing work environment.

About the Role:

  • Maintenance Delivery: The Senior Manager – Maintenance Performance will lead the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance across our Queensland road and tunnel network.
  • Contractor Management: You will oversee supplier performance, incident management, hazard reporting, and improvement initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: The role involves developing your team through coaching, clear priorities, and fostering an inclusive, diverse, and flexible work environment.
  • HSE Excellence: The successful candidate will lead a culture of health, safety, and environment excellence, ensuring policies and standards are embedded across all teams and contractors.
  • Performance Reporting: You will provide accurate maintenance performance reporting and ensure asset registers and condition data are current.

Requirements:

  • Maintenance Experience: Significant maintenance asset management experience in complex operational environments, ideally in infrastructure.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven people leadership experience and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Compliance Skills: Strong compliance and risk management skills, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control assurance.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adaptability: A proactive, flexible nature and the resilience to adapt in a constantly changing work environment.
