Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to diamond core logging for underground grade control and exploration programs;
  • Support the mining team in maximizing ore recovery and minimizing dilution;
  • Assist with diamond drill rig management for underground operations;
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by utilizing site systems and QA/QC protocols;
  • Participate in delineating, extending, and discovering mineral reserves through geological mapping and sampling;
  • Analyze underground grade control data to prepare for block modeling.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Geology;
  • Have prior experience in the mining industry, preferably in gold, with exposure to mine geology, grade control practices, and reserve/stope definition drilling;
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mining software such as Datamine and Leapfrog or similar;
  • Possess a current manual Driver's License.
