Construction Manager

Design and Build are proud to be representing a leading construction company with a diverse portfolio across commercial, education, health & government projects.
Due to continued growth, the company is looking to hire a Project Engineer to join their thriving team.
The successful candidate will work with industry professionals on fully resourced teams, with the mentorship & development in place to enhance their career.
Key Responsibilities And Duties- Liaise with stakeholders from each department (design, development, and construction) and provide necessary construction input and updates.
- Undertake due diligence reviews and communicate findings and implications to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyse design documentation to identify risks and opportunities and ensure these are effectively resolved with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop construction staging and logistic plans, management plans and methodologies.
- Develop design and construction programmes.
- Develop construction preliminaries and supervision estimates.
- Obtain trade pricing and feedback to assist developing project budgets.
- Communicate with and obtain required inputs from key subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, authorities and the like.
- Hold a tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or equivalent.
- Have strong communication and presentation skills.
- Have experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Have strong programming and project planning skills.
- Have strong problem solving and time management skills (ability to work across multiple projects at various stages concurrently).
- Have well-rounded experience across all project phases (concept to delivery and completion).
- Have experience managing the design development process and consultants.
- Have previous experience working in a similar capacity (2+ years).
- Have proven experience working as a Project Engineer on $80m+ new build projects.
- $200k package (negotiable depending on experience)
