Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with children and their families to identify and address developmental delays and other challenges that impact daily life.

Your role will involve assessing children's needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions in various settings such as clinics, homes, and schools. You will also educate and involve parents, carers, and others to facilitate the development and learning of children.

  • Help children achieve their development milestones, such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

  • Educate and involve parents, carers, and others to facilitate the development and learning of children.

  • Help children with developmental delays learn everyday tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing their teeth, and feeding themselves.

  • Help children with behavioral issues maintain positive behaviors in all environments.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy.

  • Eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduating.

  • Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025.

  • A full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third party insurance.

  • A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain.

  • A clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain.

  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain.

  • First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail.
