We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist/Consultant in Mental Health to join our team at a Central QLD hospital.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with a strong passion for mental health care to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families.
- Deliver evidence-based mental health care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and community facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide ongoing support to patients and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of a collaborative healthcare team.
Key RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- a current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
- experience working in mental health or a related field;
- strong knowledge of mental health theories, principles, and practices;
- excellent assessment, planning, and intervention skills;
- ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals;
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
