Senior Mental Health Professional
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Psychiatrist to join our mental health team and contribute to delivering high-quality care to consumers across various settings. As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to the mental health team.
The role involves working with diverse populations, including those in prison, court, watch house inpatient and community settings. You will also have opportunities to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective mental health care plans.
To succeed in this position, you must have a solid background in psychiatric practice and extensive skills in facilitating effective mental health care. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and enrolment in a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is essential.
Requirements- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP)
- A salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a.
- A salary rate between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
