Project Execution Expert Sought for Mission-Critical Data Center Installation

We are looking for an experienced project execution expert to lead the installation of Building Management System (BMS) work on a mission-critical data center project. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in electrical or controls installation and be ready to step into a leadership role managing subcontractors, installation quality, and field productivity.

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and hands-on mechanical capabilities. You will ensure all fieldwork is installed safely, correctly, and on schedule.

You will coordinate directly with subcontractors, troubleshoot field issues, walk down installations, and partner closely with our commissioning and engineering teams.

This is a boots-on-the-ground role with real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day onsite execution of BMS and low-voltage electrical installations.
  • Serve as the primary field contact for subcontractors.
  • Maintain strong communication with field teams, commissioning leads, and trade partners.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers and engineers.
  • Promote a safety-first mindset across all onsite work activities.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance field culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other pertinent curriculum.
  • 10+ years total experience, 5+ years as a construction manager.
  • Excellent field experience, proficiency in Microsoft operating systems, and Office tools.
  • Ability to assist other project members during system installation and commissioning.
  • Strong hands-on mechanical capabilities.
  • Understands control system design and how it interfaces with other systems.
  • Practice procedures outlined in the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Consistently champions safety policies.
