About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team in Cairns. As a key member of our Transport group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil design projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including coastal engineering works, footpaths, and civil components of major developments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and authorities, ensuring effective communication and liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards).
  • 4+ years' experience in project management and technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including coastal engineering works, footpaths, and civil components of major developments.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as 12D or Civil 3D in civil infrastructure projects.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, technical work.
  • Experience working in an engineering consultancy will be an advantage.
