The Ecommerce Business Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting CRG's customer-focused initiatives by leading the loyalty program stream, managing platform integrations, and optimizing customer journeys within the loyalty ecosystem. Reporting to the Product Owner – Customer, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, to ensure seamless integrations between loyalty, marketing automation, and Customer Data Platform (CDP) systems, delivering personalized and engaging customer experiences.

This specialist focuses on leveraging data to inform decision-making, running A/B tests and experiments to improve customer engagement and loyalty outcomes, ensuring seamless integration between systems like Antavo, Braze, and the CDP. This role is crucial in driving customer journeys that are both data-driven and optimized for business growth.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with Head of eCommerce and Brand Leaders to design and execute the brand eCommerce strategy.
  • Drive sales and optimize site performance by improving conversion rates, profitability, and customer experience through content management, merchandising, and ongoing site enhancements, working closely with the Digital Product and Brand teams.
  • Realize trade and drive growth outcomes of mobile/app adoption.
  • Partner with Buyers and Marketing to align digital merchandising, pricing, promotions, and content with launch plans and brand guidelines.
  • Maximize trade and growth across brand and third-party websites by collaborating with Digital Product teams, focusing on mobile, personalization, search, merchandising, and fit tools.

Key Capabilities:

  • Extensive experience working as an eCommerce Manager in a retail organization
  • Exemplary understanding and knowledge of ecommerce operations and retail trading (technical, functional, and strategic)
  • A drive towards contributing to retail excellence and digital growth
  • Deep understanding of product and promotional content management within a large and complex eCommerce website
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience across various web standards and knowledge of web accessibility, best-practice, and current front-end trends
  • Thorough understanding of web development & search engine optimization (SEO) principles and practices at a code and content level
  • Ability to convert conceptual ideas into useful and functional designs knowledge of user-centered design methodologies
  • Well-developed stakeholder relationship management, and collaboration competencies – across all levels of the organization
