A leading player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, renowned for its iconic brands and commitment to quality. This prominent company is seeking an experienced Senior Ecommerce Manager to join their team and drive growth of their online presence across multiple channels.

The role offers a unique opportunity to shape and accelerate the company's ecommerce strategy, leveraging your expertise in digital commerce and leadership skills to drive business growth.

About the Role
This newly created position will focus on accelerating the participation and growth of the company's brands in online shopping ecommerce platforms across D2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels. As the Senior Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing the D2C website, executing the corporate grocery online strategy, and contributing to the growth strategy of the business portal. You will lead a team of two people and oversee a significant online marketing investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the ecommerce strategy, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Champion the online product plan, ensuring best practice standards for product content management across all ecommerce channels.
  • Manage the merchandising and optimisation on Amazon and other retailers, including Grocery ecommerce and Quick Commerce platforms.
  • Oversee the management of the D2C site, ensuring seamless customer experience and efficient operations.
  • Project manage the build of new sites, defining best practice guidelines and implementing effective solutions.
  • Support the growth strategy for the company's business portal (B2B), driving revenue growth and expansion into new markets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of two direct reports – an ecommerce Analyst and a Performance-Based Marketer.

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in ecommerce, preferably within the grocery or consumer goods environment. A proven track record of leading a large revenue-driving B2B channel exceeding $5 million is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess a detailed understanding of commercial business drivers and metrics for assessing revenue, profit, and COGS. Experience in using analytics for performance-based marketing and associated ROI improvements is highly desirable. Hands-on experience managing and scaling ecommerce through third-party channel platforms is also required. Familiarity with the Citrus platform is a plus.
