Job Title: Senior Environmental Advisor

This role involves leading environmental assurance activities, including audits, inspections and control checks.

  • Drive compliance with legislation, regulations and project standards to ensure a high level of environmental responsibility.
  • Develop skills in your team to embed sustainability into daily operations through effective mentorship.
  • Manage environmental incidents and lead investigations with corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers and regulators to uphold high environmental standards.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering Management or a related field to possess the necessary knowledge and expertise.
  • Have solid experience in operational or major project environments to apply your skills effectively.
  • Experience in the road transport sector is highly regarded due to its unique environmental challenges.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of environmental legislation and reporting requirements to stay up-to-date.
  • Develop excellent communication, mentoring and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Obtain ICAM Lead Investigator and Auditor Training (or be willing to obtain) to enhance your investigative capabilities.
  • Possess a valid C class drivers' licence and construction white card for safe on-site work.
