ROLE OF THE SENIOR SOLUTION ARCHITECT
 In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting architectural solution frameworks at both enterprise and project/product levels, facilitating SG Fleet's cross-functional software delivery approach. You will collaborate with the Platform team to develop strategic technology roadmaps for SG Fleet's cloud and hosted solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading research into emerging technologies, creating high-quality architectural documentation, and providing training and onboarding support to various teams.

The key responsibilities of this role encompass:

• Providing leadership in architecture, design, patterns, and practices to support the organization’s implementation of business systems across diverse software and infrastructure platforms.

• Promoting group standards and best practices through quality documentation tailored for both technical and business stakeholders, including senior management and technology leaders.

• Collaborating directly with solution delivery teams to offer expertise and guidance on architecture, with a focus on utilizing SG Fleet group standards to achieve business objectives.

• Designing comprehensive solutions that encompass a wide range of software and infrastructure components, including both public and private cloud environments.

• Conducting research, special studies, and developing proof-of-concept projects based on various technologies to identify new opportunities for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of solution delivery and innovation teams.

• Working alongside operational teams to ensure that solutions are manageable and maintainable, ultimately aligning with their intended requirements.

• Providing leadership, management, and mentoring to individuals and external vendors as needed to achieve project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in business, process, and operations analysis, along with systems testing and documentation, enhancing your understanding of systems operations and their impact.

• Extensive experience in the Solution Architecture domain, with a minimum of three years in a senior technical leadership role within a medium to large commercial environment.

• Significant experience in Cloud Architecture, delivering high-performing business solutions, preferably within Azure.

• Proven track record in defining Enterprise architecture standards and developing corresponding technical documentation.

• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, having successfully implemented one or more projects, whether in a greenfield scenario or through monolith migration.
