We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Expert to support the finance team in a large and complex business.

About the Role

  • Manage and deliver financial aspects of formal planning cycles, including budget preparation.
  • Provide expert financial and commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Partner to monitor financial performance against budget.
  • Offer informed reporting and insights, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Act as a proactive liaison between teams and divisions, ensuring excellent stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and ensure compliance with financial controls.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to be CA/CPA qualified Accountant with a strong background in Management Accounting. Ideally, you will have worked within the university sector before.

Benefits

This contract role offers an initial 6-month contract with potential extension and the opportunity to showcase your financial modeling and analysis skills. The daily rate on offer is between $500 - $550/day + super.
