GPU Modeling Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled GPU modeling engineer to join our team. This role involves working in a hardware/software co-design environment to develop simulation platforms used in GPU research and development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft industry-leading simulation platforms
  • Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and verification engineers on specifications, verification plans, and test plans
  • Develop and maintain C/C++ models and supporting systems
  • Debug, test, analyze, and improve model functional and performance accuracy
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving AMD's design and verification environment

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience as a software designer and engineer proficient in C++
  • Knowledge of GPU or other computer hardware and Graphics APIs is an advantage
  • Bachelor or Master level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field

Preferred Experience

  • Graphics API or graphics pipeline knowledge
  • Hardware design or verification

  • Scripting languages - Python, Perl, shell
  • Productivity tools – Jira, Jenkins
  • Configuration Management – Perforce, GIT
  • Added advantage to have relevant development experience with CPU and/or GPU.
