Network Infrastructure Operations Specialist

As a Network Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our critical technical facilities.
The successful candidate will have relevant professional qualifications in power, aircon or telco fields, backed by formal qualifications in engineering or related disciplines.
A strong understanding of operations and platforms is essential for this role.
You will also possess hands-on experience in managing outsourced services, including operational governance and oversight of commercial and consumption spend pools.
A clear understanding of key drivers, influences and processes associated with building and operating networks is vital for success in this position.
Your analytical ability, attention to detail, and communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with senior leaders, OEM vendors, and service providers.
This role involves leading all aspects of AC, DC, UPS, power generation, cooling, and fire systems, as well as handling high-risk change requests and fault scenarios.
In your day-to-day work, you will provide strategic feedback on cost drivers and mitigation initiatives, advocate for infrastructure standards, represent field operations in network strategy, and supervise operational benefits aligned with organisational assurance strategy.
Additional responsibilities include supporting vendor governance, contributing to sourcing solutions development, reviewing performance metrics, incidents, maintenance, and costs, ensuring health and safety compliance, and providing contractual input for new services.
An estimated salary for this position is AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
