Senior Psychologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in the Southern Country region. As a Senior Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing expert clinical knowledge and interventions in child and adolescent mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical modalities to support children and adolescents with mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal client outcomes and provide consultation and education to other agencies and the community.
- Work with consumers to develop individual care and treatment plans using a recovery framework.
- Promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and adolescents.
- Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS and other agencies to provide information and education on child and adolescent mental health.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive clinical experience in delivering mental health psychology services to children and adolescents.
- Advanced clinical experience in delivering a range of evidence-based clinical modalities relevant to child and adolescent mental health.
- Advanced knowledge in at least one area of clinical practice relevant to child and adolescent mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with consumers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy, with limited supervision and direction.
