Support Worker

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop meaningful relationships with clients and support them with daily living activities.
  • Promote independent living skills and encourage clients to reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Certification in Disability Support or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of disability support principles and practices.

Required Skills:

  • Cert III or IV in Disability (required)
  • Medication trained (desirable)
  • Experience with complex supports
  • Understanding of professional boundaries within the support work scope
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver Licence
