Key Position Overview:

The role of Mortgage Specialist plays a pivotal part in our retail network by establishing strong relationships with members through delivery of exceptional member service while providing sound residential mortgage advice.

  • Providing seamless end-to-end banking experience
  • Making outbound calls to new and prospective members
  • Creating meaningful conversations with members by building trust and confidence
  • Developing relationships within the Defence Community
  • Educating members on adopting and using digital banking tools
  • Growing Mortgage and Consumer lending portfolios

This position requires collaboration with branch staff, regional lending peers and credit team to provide and support a positive member experience during the largest and most exciting purchase our members make – their home.

About You:

We seek a passionate and experienced Mortgage Lender who is results-driven, self-motivated and proactive yet flexible in operation. You will have solid knowledge of local residential mortgage products and real estate market within your region.

You possess the skill and ability to create new opportunities, convert leads and manage your pipeline. You enjoy engaging with members proactively via outbound calling. You have the natural ability to build and maintain relationships through business development with members and within the local community.
