Production Operator Specialist

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team.
This role will play a vital part in ensuring products are made in a safe environment, meet the highest standards of quality and contribute to the efficiency of our manufacturing process.
You will operate and maintain equipment to meet our Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Sustainability and Morale targets.
Key Responsibilities- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Produce products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Set up, operate, monitor and adjust production machinery and equipment.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Use SAP and other online computer systems.
- Apply lean manufacturing tools including 5S, Kaizen and One Point Lessons to reduce losses across the plant.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any issues to the Shift Leader or Manager.
- Potential opportunity to work in Warehousing.
- Demonstrate a desire to drive your future and accelerate your career.
- Experience and knowledge in:
- Machine / mechanical operations.
- Lean manufacturing.
- Safety and quality standards.
- Communicating with team members on site.
- Using IT systems to support production processes.
- Collaborating well in a diverse work environment.
- Forklift Licence advantageous.
