Release Planning Specialist

Our client, a leading organisation within the finance sector, is seeking a skilled Release Planning Specialist to drive successful releases and play a critical role in their ongoing business transformation.

This key role involves enabling smooth, efficient, and strategic delivery across Agile development teams. You will:

  • Develop and manage release roadmaps across the portfolio
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning to ensure alignment with strategic priorities
  • Design templates for timeline mapping and quarterly roadmaps for executive-level visibility
  • Streamline the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support ISO 27001 compliance

As a Release Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing release schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation
  • Creating and maintaining process workflows for initiatives, incidents, and BAU activities
  • Acting as the central point of contact for release governance and execution
  • Ensuring adherence to internal standards and driving improvements in delivery quality
  • Coaching Agile teams, removing delivery impediments, and fostering cross-team collaboration
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Release Manager in complex Agile environments
  • Strong background in Agile delivery, including PI planning and coaching practices
  • Experience working within SDLC frameworks and compliance-driven environments
  • Ability to develop strategic roadmaps, release plans, and executive reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience within the automotive finance or related industries is advantageous
