About the Cadet Design Role

A fast-growing organization is seeking a talented individual to join its design services team.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals to develop planning and design projects, while acquiring detailed knowledge of mechanical planning and design principles, policies, standards, and guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing skills in 3D mechanical modeling and 2D mechanical drawing for industrial and mining projects.
  • Assisting in the preparation of planning and design projects, working collaboratively with other disciplines.
  • Complying with corporate policies and procedures, adopting quality assurance and occupational health, safety, and environment policies, procedures, and requirements.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have an interest in design and drafting, and current study or attainment of Certificate 3 in Engineering - Technical from a recognized institution is preferred.

Further education by gaining the Certificate 4 in Engineering - Drafting is highly desirable. Clear written and oral communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
