At Visy, we're seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to drive compliance and continuous improvement in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a key member of our Fibre Packaging team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of packaging.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you lead projects that enhance product quality and operational excellence, collaborate with industry leaders to shape the future of packaging, and manage compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and other customer-specific requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain compliance with quality and food safety standards (ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000).
  • Lead external and internal audit processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of corrective actions.
  • Oversee document control and ensure systems are up to date with current protocols.
  • Conduct product testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with raw material and product specifications.
  • Collaborate with teams to analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement action plans.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in continuous improvement, guiding business enhancement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, both internal and external.
  • Lead Auditor qualification and hands-on experience with ISO9001, HACCP, and FSSC 22000.
  • Strong system management and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to lead projects.
  • Desirable: FMCG or corrugated board industry experience, and project management skills.

About Visy

We offer a competitive salary package of AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and annual leave provisions.
