About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our dynamic inpatient team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting adults on their rehabilitation journey following traumatic brain injury.

Key responsibilities include assisting physiotherapists with transferring, standing, and walking clients, as well as assisting with individual and group exercise programs, aquatic physiotherapy sessions, and administrative duties.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, their families, community services, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver goal-focused rehabilitation programs. You will also gain hands-on experience contributing to both individual and group interventions across various service models.

Essential Criteria
  • Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with people with physical disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstration of effective teamwork
  • Excellent time management and self-organisational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Able to swim
