Financial Planning and Analysis Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing month-end and year-end accounting processes, including preparation of financial reports.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification and an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as retail, FMCG, or e-commerce.
Skill Requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Strong communication, administration, and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), oversee month-end and year-end accounting processes, including preparation of financial reports.
  2. Assist with bank statement reconciliation and processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  3. Validate and process invoices for Accounts Payable, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  4. Provide backup support for payroll and administrative functions, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
  5. Contribute to preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), exercising analytical skills.

This role requires a highly organized individual with exceptional time management skills, able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
