Job Details

This position involves leading accounting functions and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the month-end close process ensuring accurate general ledger and asset register information
  • Analyze results including KPIs, balance sheets, and reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger and asset register
  • Supervise transactional accounting and mentor AP and AR accounts officers
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and internal performance metrics
  • Compile annual statutory accounts and external reporting
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance and accounting
  • CPA or CA membership
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior financial accountant
  • Ability to lead and manage a small team
  • Audit processes and compliance reporting skills are highly valued
